The first MD (Dr. Genovese) explained so much, took her time, and ordered a battery of tests for us to perform. We got so lucky and conceived naturally shortly after this appointment, but they still were open to testing the early pregnancy. Every time we went it was a joy. I consider these people our good luck charms - we graduated today! All the staff, every single person, incredible. Thank you so so much!T

I am the kind of patient that asks a million questions and I never felt like I was bothering them with any of my questions (no matter how small they were) and they were always so quick to answer them all. The entire staff go above and beyond to make you feel not only welcome but like family. They take the time to know you by name and feel so personable, for someone like myself that likes to talk and engage with everyone they always made me feel like I belonged there every time I came in for an appointment or had a message sent through my portal. I had my three older children in my 20's with no problems so I never thought I would have issues with fertility, but after trying for over a year and suffering 2 miscarriages, secondary infertility became our new norm. I am very big on not putting a lot of stress on my body so the mini-IVF approach was perfect for us and my "advanced maternal age" as Dr Davis wanted to focus on quality over quantity. She was so thorough with information on everything from vitamins and supplements for myself and my husband, to discussing acupuncture, diet, and lifestyle changes. I never felt like we were just given a bunch of pills and shots to make this happen, it was really a whole body and lifestyle approach and I am SO grateful for it. We transferred our 1 and only PGT normal embryo and not only did it work but to our shock we found out at our last appointment she split into identical TWINS! We were praying for a miracle with our "golden egg" and now cannot believe we are being blessed with 2 little miracles and its all thanks to Dr Davis and her entire staff!! If you are looking for a fertility clinic that doesn't see you as just another number and takes the time to tailor your protocol around your individual wants and needs, RUN do not walk to Dr Davis and Pearl Mini-IVF because they are the absolute BEST!!K

Anastasiya, Hope and Yuzi comprised our care team. The three of them went above and beyond and not only were professional, but they were compassionate and empathetic during our process. Anastasiya is incredibly knowledgeable and a wonderful PA. She answered all of our questions and provided the best guidance truly from a place of hope and love. We are thrilled to welcome our baby in a few months, thanks to Pearl!S

I was impressed by the first interaction…As much as I try to find the positives in business as a small business owner myself, I would definitely not recommend this IVF clinic. I was impressed by the first interaction with Dr. Davis, however, at each successive visit I was more disappointed. I received very little of her time and no explanation as to what the process was like or what certain information/numbers meant. After my retrieval, no one talked to ME about the results, they just spoke to my husband and expected him to tell me the news. Additionally, after an unsuccessful retrieval, I was told to “go get endometriosis surgery” as if it wasn’t a big decision and then I could come back and try again. The IVF meds were actually what made my endo lesions worse and after asking about that, the doctor denied it could be the medics. At my first blood draw appointment, the MA joked about how she couldn’t get pregnant and then “bam! I got pregnant when I stopped stressing.” As a trauma therapist, I was astounded by the lack of education of the staff about how infertility is a trauma and how patients should be treated with care and empathy. Throughout my experience at Pearl Mini-IVF I felt like I was just one more person on a fertility conveyer belt and all that really mattered was my money. Case in point, I received a bill a year after our retrieval for frozen embryo storage at Pearl. However, all of our embryos were immature or genetically non-viable. These should have been discarded or donated to science according to the paperwork we signed at the outset of services. I called their billing department and they said they would take care of the bill and zero out the payment. But I kept receiving more and more bills and eventually they threatened to send me to collections. This place just wants your money and doesn’t care about the actual people they serve!L
I came to Pearl after doing two egg retrievals at San Diego Fertility Center. I wasn’t happy with SDFC because after I only got one euploid embryo from my first egg retrieval and…I came to Pearl after doing two egg retrievals at San Diego Fertility Center. I wasn’t happy with SDFC because after I only got one euploid embryo from my first egg retrieval and got a no result and a chaotic embryo from my second egg retrieval, my doctor at SDFC still refused to change my protocol. That made no sense to me because my doctor at SDFC had decided on the amount of stims for both retrievals based on my initial diagnostic testing results, but after both retrievals, she kept saying I responded better than she thought I would, which to me meant I should be on less stims than my diagnostic results indicated. But she refused to change my protocol so I decided to do a consult with Pearl. After talking to Dr. Davis, I liked her philosophy of less stims to focus on egg quality over quantity. My first retrieval with Dr. Davis resulted in four euploids! My friend who had the same experience with SDFC over three egg retrievals (she got one euploid each retrieval), also switched to Pearl after I did and got five euploids! So my experience was not just a fluke. I’m now pregnant after my second frozen embryo transfer with Pearl. After my first transfer didn’t work, Anastasia (the PA there) listened to my concerns and my experience and made changes to my transfer protocol. Overall, the care team at Pearl are awesome. They’re so nice and my nurse Maurnica always promptly responded to my questions. All the nurses there are really nice and sweet. And I love that I generally never have to wait long for my appointments. The facilities are always clean annd spotless and the decor is warm and welcoming. I’m very happy with my experience there and would recommend them to everyone!C

Dr. Davis was always honest, realistic and upfront with everything while still managing to be comforting and supportive. We always felt like any and all of our questions were answered thoroughly. We had a scare on a weekend and it was so reassuring to know Dr. Davis & Anastasiya were just a call away. The team in the office is incredible! They made a process that is stressful and emotional into something positive. Their support through it all made a huge difference in our journey. After almost 3 years of trying to conceive and our first round of IVF with Pearl, we are thrilled to be expecting our miracle baby June 2025!! I would 1000% recommend Pearl mini IVF to any family struggling to conceive.K

We have had a successful egg retrieval and now a successful transfer. <3 We were referred by a friend after experiencing a failed attempt (no genetically competent embryos) at another IVF clinic. I was looking for a physician that understood and practiced the most recent science related to egg quality and who would not disregard my thoughts on research proven supplements and acupuncture as a way to improve egg quality. Dr. Davis was immediately interested in and supportive with the supplements I had been recommended by my fertility focused naturopath. She also made evidence based suggestions of her own and helped further our understanding of why she would recommend a specific IVF protocol for me. She works closely with my acupuncturist and always was supportive of my care with her. Each step of the way she helped me clearly understand why she was recommending a specific course of action. Pearl IVF has a beautiful and calm office. They strive to make the experience as relaxed but supportive as possible. Their RN team is fabulous and always prompt with their care. I never had a problem finding an appointment time that worked with my schedule. Each time that we had a question (whether it was in regard to care, scheduling or billing) it was answered promptly and kindly. I especially appreciated the effort that was made to ensure that my journey was private to even the other patients waiting in the office. Dr. Davis and the team celebrated our successes with us but always in a mindful manner so as not to potentially trigger other patients who may have been within earshot of our conversations as we went through procedures or left appointments. As someone who has struggled with infertility for 10 years I immediately noticed this kind gesture and knew how it could feel to be the person on the other side. I felt this really displayed Dr. Davis and her staff’s commitment to providing respectful care. Dr. Davis is very kind and warm. She has a wonderful bedside manner and we always felt comfortable in her care. I would not hesitate to see her again when we feel ready, nor would I hesitate to send any of my friends or family to her practice.K

She takes the time to explain everything to you because it is often brand new and a ton of overwhelming information to take in at once. My wife and I both did egg retrievals and she was good about focusing on each one of us as the primary patient when it was our turn. The staff here are for the most part very helpful and kind. I’m really glad we went with Pearl. That being said, it’s worth noting that Dr. Davis is leaving this practice on May 20th , so buyer beware going forward. The message on their website sounds like it’s going to be staffed with subs until the new doctor starts in September 2025. Also worth noting that we had success with Dr. Davis and we are expecting this Summer! 👶M

After 4 years of trying to conceive and a year of fertility treatment, my partner and I have successfully graduated from IVF treatments and are expecting our baby this fall. I cannot recommend Dr. Davis enough, as she was so maternal and gentle throughout an otherwise emotional and difficult journey. My husband and I had been doing fertility treatments for a year at another office and weren’t seeing the results we were hoping for. We decided to make the switch to Pearl after my acupuncturist recommended Dr.Davis and it was the best decision we ever made! The entire staff is so friendly and personable - which really makes all the difference when you’re struggling with infertility. Dr. Davis really took the time to listen to us and suggested we try a new approach which did result in pregnancy. I’m now 24 weeks along with our rainbow baby and I truly don’t think we would have made it this far if it weren’t for the entire team at Pearl. Like us, most probably don’t know until you go through it, that IVF can take longer than expected and there are a range of emotional highs and lows throughout the journey. But Dr. Davis and her team were reassuring, persistent with our care, and always greeted us with a smile throughout our entire time there. Dr. Davis always explained all of our options clearly & even worked with us when we preferred to do things a bit out of the ordinary with regards to keeping the process as natural as possible. I am especially grateful for this as it helped us feel much more comfortable & in control of our care which is hard to find. She truly listened to our concerns & needs. We can’t say enough good things about the team, the atmosphere & warm feeling of the offices, & knowing that everyone there is rooting for you! Dr. Davis is very personable and always listens to our questions and concerns with compassion, understanding, and knowledge. I saw her personally at almost all of my appointments which helped keep open lines of communication and quickly get answers to questions. I also had a great experience working with Shannon as my nurse and the rest of the nursing staff was always very helpful and friendly. Communication through the patient portal was answered usually within a few hours. I felt like I was treated like a person and not just a number or a science experiment. And most importantly we had success and are currently pregnant! I couldn't recommend Dr. Davis and her team more. She offered us hope and her approach with mini stim is exactly what my body needed. It is impossible to summarize the love, appreciation, and gratitude that we have for Dr. Davis and the Pearl family! We met with Dr. Davis after numerous failed attempts at…It is impossible to summarize the love, appreciation, and gratitude that we have for Dr. Davis and the Pearl family! We met with Dr. Davis after numerous failed attempts at traditional IVF with 2 other doctors, one in Beverly Hills and another one here is San Diego. What immediately impressed us was during our very first visit was Dr. Davis, she focused on the positive factors instead of all the negatives and what we had going against us- as with all the other IVF clinics. We obviously know our hurdles having to go through IVF to begin with, so hearing about the hope was such a wonderful change of pace. And we were not an easy case- both my husband and myself have our own individual issues, and it took time to figure out what was going to work. I don’t think we could have made it through so many attempts had it not been for Dr. Davis, and her compassion and dedication with our case. And I have to give so much credit to the entire staff, because I was not always an easy patient- after years of trying to start a family (coupled with a ton of hormones) you lose patience and understanding. But regardless, the team always had patience and understanding for my husband and I, and that meant the world to us! Dr. Davis also spent the time to work with my husband’s doctor to understand his case and help us prepare for retrievals and what was needed for best success when things were not looking so great- how extraordinary is that! I am so immensely overjoyed to announce that we are currently pregnant with our first son, and we have our future healthy embryos with Pearl for when those times come to continue to grow our family. We would not be where we are today had it not been for how phenomenal Dr. Davis is at what she does. When others gave up or ran out of answers for us, Dr. Davis had hope and took the time to figure out what we needed to do to create our family. I always knew in my heart that my husband and I could create children that are biologically ours, and I will forever be grateful for Dr. Davis and the amazing team at Pearl for sticking it out with us and also sharing our belief to create our family. Again, it is impossible to put into words exactly how tremendous Pearl IVF is- but if you are questioning your ability to start a family, trust in Dr. Davis and the team at Pearl to make your dreams come true. From the moment of calling to schedule, to the care I received from Dr Davis, her PA, and RN - I felt listened to, cared for, and understood. Dr Davis takes time to explain your labs, details about reproductive health which most doctors never take the time to explain, and her care I was at ease. I also appreciate they take the time to speak about the foundations of health such as diet, lifestyle, sleep and other care modalities which can be helpful like acupuncture. As a person who tries my best to put my health first, it was a relief to see some clinics speaking about the foundation before any type of fertility treatment. 5 stars to an awesome team and clinic. As I write this review, I am 8 weeks, 6 days pregnant and have officially "graduated" from Pearl. In July 2022, I was diagnosed with Diminished Ovarian Reserve with an incredibly…As I write this review, I am 8 weeks, 6 days pregnant and have officially "graduated" from Pearl. In July 2022, I was diagnosed with Diminished Ovarian Reserve with an incredibly low AMH & AFC. After two unsuccessful IVF rounds at a different clinic in San Diego, I was advised to consider alternatives like egg donation, embryo adoption, or adoption. All of these are wonderful ways to build a family but having just turned 35, I wasn't ready to give up on my body just yet. A close friend introduced me to Dr. Davis at Pearl. Their confidence in my ability to have a biological child was a stark contrast to my previous experiences. We started a modified mini IVF cycle in October 2023, with a cautiously optimistic outlook. To our surprise, the results surpassed our expectations: 4 eggs retrieved 100% fertilization rate 2 healthy, PGT-tested embryos (one boy, one girl) To say we were in disbelief is an understatement. We went from having virtually zero hope to the possibility of having not one but two children. We transferred one embryo on December 16th, 2023, and received the best Christmas gift ever: a positive pregnancy test. Pearl's clinic, aside from delivering remarkable medical results, impressed me with its aesthetic and cleanliness. It was a haven where individualized care shone through every detail, from real sheets in the exam rooms to the calm, unhurried atmosphere, a stark contrast to the impersonal nature of my previous clinic. Last but not least, it is the staff who truly made our experience not only successful but enjoyable. Anyone who has gone through IVF knows how heavy the burden is – mentally, physically, and financially. Everyone we came in contact with made us feel like we were part of their family, cheering us on every step of the way. The front desk, the amazing nursing staff (who always responded right away when I had a question), Anastasia, and, of course, Dr. Davis made our experience one we will never forget. We are so grateful to the entire team for giving us this opportunity to start our family. If I could give 10 stars, I would. My only regret is not coming here first. With every chapter, this is a bittersweet end, but we could not be more excited for the future and to welcome our sweet little bean into our family this September. We’ll be back for baby 2 before you know it.N

Let me start by saying that my wife and I were referred to Pearl Mini IVF in June of 2023. Dr. Davis was incredibly kind and helpful during our time there, but unfortunately, we…Let me start by saying that my wife and I were referred to Pearl Mini IVF in June of 2023. Dr. Davis was incredibly kind and helpful during our time there, but unfortunately, we had some concerns about the staff. There were a few instances of miscommunication regarding the necessary steps to start the process, and we also had an unexpected outstanding balance of $70 even though we had been self-pay patients from the start. We had informed Crystal and the other staff members about our plans to relocate back to Guam in September 2023, and since we hadn't been successful in getting pregnant by August, we decided to discontinue our attempts. We made sure to let the staff know that we wouldn't be moving forward due to our upcoming relocation and we wanted to confirm that we didn't owe anything else. They assured us that everything was taken care of and that we didn't owe anything more. However, in November 2023, we received a bill for $70 from Pearl Mini IVF. Naturally, we immediately called to address the issue and spoke with Crystal and Meredith. They checked our account multiple times and assured us that it was an error and that they would handle it with their billing department. Despite these assurances, we received another reminder bill in December for the same $70. We called again, and once again, we were reassured that it was a mistake. It's January 2024, we have received a letter stating that if we don't pay this $70, Pearl Mini IVF will send us to collections. It's frustrating because at this point, no one at the clinic seems to want to answer our calls or address the issue. After spending thousands of dollars out of pocket, it feels unfair that they can't waive this small amount that was their mistake in the first place.A

We wanted to go to a fertility clinic that treated you like people and not a number, this is the place for sure. Dr.Davis takes her time with you, answers any and all questions. You never feel rushed. Your questions, phone calls messages are always answered and you are never to feel like an inconvenience. I had a detailed plan and used an app that connects me with a nurse named Katie. Ideally, I would love to write a review with a baby in my arms, but at this point, it feels like we are starting from scratch again. Unfortunately, our first IVF attempt was unsuccessful and it was a tough blow. However, we decided to move forward and are now planning a second try with Dr. Davis. I'm not sure how to explain it better, but now I truly understand the meaning of compassion. When I see other women waiting in the clinic's lobby, I want to give them a smile and wish them strength and success. Remember, if it doesn't work out the first time, know that you are not alone. In every smile and kind word from Dr. Davis and her team, I feel a sense of support and a genuine desire for our success. This is incredibly important to me and I truly believe that we will achieve our goal in the end.

I came to Pearl having decided to become a single mom by choice - it has always been my dream to be a mom, and at 32 I felt like it was finally time, partner or not. Dr. Davis is something special - I have never had a doctor that felt so much like a champion. I feel like she understood my decision, and not only supported me, but provided such love in her care. She was extremely present during my entire treatment, doing every ultrasound and administered my IUI with so much excitement. She was available for all my questions I had along the way and never hesitated to offer support when I was feeling nervous. My first IUI in December 2021 unfortunately did not take and Dr. Davis was there to help me through the emotions and to make a plan to move forward. I had initially thought I would take some time off before my second attempt, but with how smooth and wonderful my first attempt was, I decided to go right into another cycle in January 2022. Dr. Davis really looked at my first cycle and what we could change to be successful - we decided to try a natural cycle and I got pregnant that month. I now have a beautiful, healthy 8 month old baby boy who is the light of my life. Dr. Davis and Pearl made my dreams become a reality and they will forever feel like family to me. Dr. Davis followed me through my pregnancy and was so wonderful and loving when I announced my sons arrival. The staff at Pearl is unmatched as well - from the front desk team who answer calls so warmly, and take the time to remember my name and make me feel special at each visit, to my nurses who where always a call or portal message away if I had any questions or just needed some support. Their staff feels intimate and it truly feels like everyone knows who you and cares deeply. The MA staff is so calming and personable, they made all the blood draws not feel so daunting. And I even got to meet the Andrology team on the day of my IUI - again, it felt very special and like they all took an interest in me as a patient. The most important thing to me was feeling safe and well cared for and Pearl Mini-IVF went above and beyond all my expectations. If you are interested in fertility treatment, I cannot sing their praises enough. Dr. Davis is wonderful about educating you and making sure you understand every stage of treatment. I can't wait to come back and be with the team again if I decide to have baby 2!L

My HSG today at Pearl was quick and easy! And I’ve had an HSG done before elsewhere and it was not a good experience so I am SO glad I found Pearl Mini-IVF! Dr. Davis is wonderful. She always spent lots of time with us listening and explaining everything thoroughly. We never felt rushed or like just another patient. Each treatment is highly individualized. Dr. Davis has a genuine passion for helping women conceive and having gone through fertility treatments herself, is extremely empathetic. I was lucky enough to conceive on my own prior to starting IVF and Dr. Davis still supported me in early pregnancy. That pregnancy unfortunately ended in a miscarriage but Dr Davis and her entire team compassionately supported me through that as well. I was then able to start Mini-IVF and was extremely successful with 4 healthy embryos on the first round of retrieval. I was able to do a FET the next month that has resulted in a healthy pregnancy! We will be welcoming a healthy baby girl this summer thanks to Dr Davis and everyone at Pearl mini-IVF. I love this office so much!A
