Adore fell short in several critical ways, particularly around communication and administrative follow-through. Ultimately, I wasn’t even able to proceed with my egg freezing cycle due to multiple administrative and communication errors on their end. Despite this, Adore had previously told me that my insurance would cover none of the procedure—and they still declined to refund my $1,000 deposit, even though the retrieval never took place because of their mistakes. In contrast, Coastal Fertility provided a far more seamless and transparent experience. Not only was their team significantly more organized and communicative, but they were also able to work with my insurance to reduce the cost of my retrieval from $7,000 to just $1,200, something Adore had told me wasn’t possible. I came to Adore via a recommendation, and had a very open heart and open mind and tried to be very accommodating of their mishaps, but for them to ultimately still refuse to even refund my deposit to me was the last straw and made me feel compelled to tell people to venture into this very personal and very emotional experience elsewhere.
