Dr Sweet took the time to explain each option carefully and what to expect. There was no pressure what so ever to immediately start with him. We took some time to ourselves and considered our options. Last spring we started with Dr Sweet again as we were ready for the next steps. Each time Dr Sweet was compassionate and caring and took the time to make us feel like people and not just another patient number. Because of Dr Sweet, I became pregnant Aug 2025. In April 2026 I gave birth to a beautiful healthy baby girl, Harley. Holding her in my arms I was so grateful to Dr Sweet in that moment, without him I don’t think our family would be complete. Dr Sweet and his team were INCREDIBLE from day one. Thank you guys for everything!!

From there, he does everything he can to guide you down the best possible path toward getting pregnant, always with your best interest at heart. Our journey was not an easy one—we’ve been through surgery for endometriosis, faced failed IUI’s, cancelled transfers, & a miscarriage…….We have experienced both heartbreak and uncertainty along the way, but have also been incredibly blessed to witness miracles and triumphs. Infertility is not always sunshine and rainbows—it’s deeply emotional, challenging, and at times overwhelming. Having a team that stands beside you, supports you, and truly roots for you every step of the way makes all the difference in the world. Because of Dr. Sweet, his incredibly skilled embryologist, and his amazing team, we were blessed with our beautiful 2½-year-old son—something we once only dreamed of. We have spent alot of time (more than we could have guessed!) with the team at Specialists in Reproductive Medicine over the last two years, and can without a doubt say, they are the best. Each member of the team is incredibly kind in every interaction, knowledgable and pleasant to work with. Dr. Sweet has a very fact-based approach and while you might not always love the news he is delivering, you can trust that there is a plan to get you to the outcome you wish for. We never once wondered if we were in the right place, or if this was the right office to make our dream of being parents come true. Susan is an absolute joy and I will genuinely miss talking to her! She always made herself available for any questions or issues, even outside of normal business hours. After one failed IUI, my husband and I became pregnant with TWINS on our second round. The Naples Moms group recommended Dr Sweet so we decided to give him a shot, even though he is an hour away from us. Dr. Sweet gave us some hope but also advised us of the high probability that we may not conceive based on our situation. We went through it anyway and I’m super grateful! Although this is a very sensitive time for women who are desperate to have a child (as we were) he will not cuddle you and give you false hope simply to keep you as a client. He’s realistic and straightforward so if you need to be hand held and cuddle, try a different Dr. I loved working with him because he based his work on medical facts, statistics, medical research and always kept it real. There was one joke he made that others may have found uncomfortable or insensitive but it was funny to me. My husband didn’t think it was but he wasn’t offended either. Sweets office is so friendly and treat you so warmly. Dr. Sweet is such a knowledgeable doctor and very professional. Our first appointment he spent over a hour and a half with us just to hear our timeline, history and concerns. That was our first big impression and he never disappointed. He’s very straight forward and when he thought I would be a good candidate for a natural embryo transfer (one I never was offered before with my past doctor) I decided to trust his medical background and expertise and try it. And I’m so thankful I did. I can happily say my first embryo transfer with dr. sweet was a success and I am now 11weeks pregnant!!! I’m so thankful to Dr. Sweet and his wonderful staff I even told him he better not think of retiring anytime soon! So I can go back to him for future pregnancies!!M

I had a gut feeling I did not want to do IVF with the clinic in Naples and I am SO grateful we made the switch before going down that road. Dr. Sweet actually spent a lot of time and dedication with us to go over our history, provide data around our options and give us his honest opinion. Dr. Sweet helped us get pregnant within 6 months of making the switch to his clinic. We did two rounds of IVF and did a fresh transfer on the second try and I just delivered healthy boy/girl TWINS. He tailors his protocol for the patient and was open to having discussions about options/research and was never shy about giving advice and perspective. I cannot put into words how grateful we are for Dr. Sweet and his team - everyone from the nurses, billing, front desk, Lorrie and his embryo team are amazing. The doctor felt that I would have issues carrying. All of this was said without looking at our file or doing tests. The information was gut wrenching so we decided to get a second opinion. Dr sweet ordered multiple tests which showed there was nothing medically wrong. He recommended IUI and after our second round we were pregnant. I truly felt heard and felt Dr. Sweet cared about me as an individual. I am so thankful. Our little guy is now 3 months and we will forever grateful for him and his team.

He sits down and makes a detailed plan with what works for you. We started our plan and within two months I became pregnant, unfortunately it was ectopic. No one in the emergency room was unable to find the ectopic because it was so early, but Dr. Sweet found it right away. Throughout the entire process Dr. Sweet and his staff really made everything easier, and even contacted me to just to check in on how I was. That in itself means more than they could imagine through such a difficult time.
