The doctors, nurses, embryologists, and administrative staff were not only highly skilled and professional but also incredibly compassionate. Wow! Where do I even begin? My wife and I started our journey with Pinnacle with an IUI procedure that was unsuccessful. We actually decided to transition from another fertility…Wow! Where do I even begin? My wife and I started our journey with Pinnacle with an IUI procedure that was unsuccessful. We actually decided to transition from another fertility clinic in Scottsdale that we didn’t have any success with but most importantly, we found that Pinnacle prioritized our concerns and walked us through step by step what what IVF would look like should the IUI procedure fail. As women of color and also members of the lgbtq community finding a set of medical providers that took the time to understand our needs was paramount. At the start of my wife’s IUI Dr.Larson set the expectation that our chances were low for this kind of procedure. We appreciated this transparency because our previous provider from another facility completely disappointed us with the complete opposite expectation as we were not knowledgeable about this kind of thing and needed to prepare of ourselves financially to take things to the next level in the event that we were unsuccessful. Altogether, we had 2 failed IUIs and also multiple failed ICI pregnancies. Dr. Larson patiently walked us through the entire process step by step and also answered any questions we had. We got all our billing information and then a year later we started the process and Dr. Petersen successfully completed the transfer. Now we have a beautiful, healthy babygirl. To anyone especially a part of the lgbtq community reading this that wants a safe, judgement-free, professional and knowledgeable set of fertility providers to do your IVF procedure. This is your sign. Just make sure you stick to the instructions you are given, keep your diet on point and stress levels low and also make sure you have the right support system as well. Yes, it is an investment that we expect to see the results for, but the reality is, you have to put in the work too! After the transfer, pay attention to the after care instructions you are given. It matters! Take your injections on time and it will all fall into place like it should. Every woman’s body is not the same but making sure you do your part plays a vital role too. My wife and I are truly happy that they made this possible and if we get another shot at siblings, this is exactly where we will go. We had a consultation at the first one, made it through diagnostic testing with the second one, and made it to treatment with Pinnacle. We worked with Dr. Kurt Peterson and I would recommend him without hesitation. He was knowledgeable and easy to speak to and get along with. I felt confident with him as our RE. Two other very important people I interacted with were Hannah at the Chandler office and my patient navigator, Sandra. I cannot say enough good things about either of them. Hannah was the clinician I saw for most of my appointments and Sandra was my point of contact/liaison. Both of them made the process far less stressful than it could have been. I never felt uncomfortable asking questions and always felt heard. Being able to reach out easily to a navigator in-between appointments was a game changer and something that wasn’t available at the other clinics I had spoken to. We’re now expecting our first child and have this team to thank. We first started going to Dr. Larsen at Advanced Fertility Care because he was referred by my OB. We didn’t know anything about infertility treatment, but as we continued on and…We first started going to Dr. Larsen at Advanced Fertility Care because he was referred by my OB. We didn’t know anything about infertility treatment, but as we continued on and learned more I’ve come to realize how lucky we were to find this team. I saw both Dr. Larsen and Dr. Zoneraich and loved them both. They are knowledgeable and friendly and I love that they see you at every visit, perform all of the ultrasounds and all of the procedures. One of my friends had a really painful experience with her IUIs because they were performed by residents at her clinic, but we did 4 rounds of IUIs at Advanced Fertility Care and I was comfortable each time. We ended up needing to do IVF and I learned that not all doctors follow the same protocols. A friend of mine wasn’t offered ICSI or genetic testing when she did IVF at her clinic and had a failed transfer; but at Advanced Fertility Care we were offered all of the most up to date procedures. I also loved that we were assigned a patient navigator to guide us through the process and answer all of the million questions we had! I learned not all clinics have patient navigators. And thanks to the Advanced Fertility Care team, Dr. Larsen and Dr. Zoneraich, we will be welcoming a baby boy this year!Clinic route
