Throughout my appointment, she came across as unprofessional and…If you can, do not get seen by Midwife Billips. I had a very disappointing experience with Midwife Billips. Throughout my appointment, she came across as unprofessional and dismissive. Instead of taking the time to listen to my concerns, I felt rushed and as though my questions were being brushed aside. Her bedside manner also left much to be desired. Compassion and clear communication are incredibly important in healthcare, especially during pregnancy and postpartum care, but I did not feel heard, respected, or supported. The interaction made me feel uncomfortable rather than reassured. I understand that healthcare providers have busy schedules, but every patient deserves to be treated with respect and empathy. I hope this feedback encourages improvement in communication and patient care so that others have a more positive experience than I did. I am not the only person who has had poor experiences with her. Lucky for me I got outside care, so if you have the chance to be seen elsewhere or with a different provider, do so.
