In February 2021, I was in your shoes scrolling through reviews of Dr. Moomjy hoping she’d be as amazing as her reviews say she is. It’s now August 2021 and I can safely say that…In February 2021, I was in your shoes scrolling through reviews of Dr. Moomjy hoping she’d be as amazing as her reviews say she is. It’s now August 2021 and I can safely say that Dr. Moomjy is everything and more. I’ll include the information you’re looking for first: she succeeded in getting me pregnant (and knock on wood will help make sure this pregnancy lasts!) Though she is the first fertility doctor I went to, she is the most thorough doctor that I’ve ever been to. She left no stone unturned and made sure that I was as healthy as I could possibly be before beginning fertility treatment (i.e discovered I had wildly high levels of mercury, chronic endometritis, a low AMH level, some fluid near my tubes, etc., all of which she treated expeditiously and with care). From our first consultation, Dr. Moomjy suggested IVF, but I asked to try IUI first. We unsuccessfully tried two rounds of IUI, and then moved on to IVF (which worked on our first try). She’s genuinely a brilliant doctor and person - she is kind and understanding, but she doesn’t waste any time babying you and is always thinking about next steps and how to improve your chances of getting pregnant. Her staff is ALWAYS responsive - I once called on a weekend at 8 am and Dr. Moomjy personally called me back at 8:11 am. While she is pricey, her staff submits your claims to your insurance for reimbursement so you don’t have to deal with any of that stuff on your own and you get checks in the mail reimbursing you for part of your cost (depending on your insurance). Dr. Moomjy’s staff is just as amazing as she is. Edith, Caroline and Tatiana answer calls on the second ring (which is so rare for doctors offices let alone fertility clinics) and really get to know you. There’s never a wait - I’ve seriously never waited more than 30 seconds to be seen. If you can afford going to Dr. Moomjy then you 100% should - it’s the best care you’ll get in this field from my experience. I genuinely enjoyed going to the office during my monitoring period, which takes so much of the anxiety and stress out of this otherwise scary and frustrating process. (I swear I’m not getting paid for this review, I just love this practice that much and know how stressful the process of picking a doctor who will help you with one of the most important parts of your life feels like!)

She was a fierce advocate for me - the perfect balance of intelligence, experience and personal sensitivity to the emotions I had throughout. I trust her implicitly. It wasn't an easy ride, but she encouraged me to stick with and hang in there - and she was right. My daughter is the greatest gift and surprise of my life. Go no further for a fertility doctor. Immediately, Dr. Moomjy had me begin COQ-10 and DHEA, which I continued until I received a positive pregnancy test about 6 months later. She felt I was a candidate for both IUI and IVF. We went with two rounds of IUI and conceived on the 2nd one. Honestly, I was shocked. I was sure we were going to have to resort to IVF and I am so glad we didn't, as it would have been much more invasive.
