Very clean and organized. Staff was friendly. The lady who drew my blood was great—didn’t even feel it. Results were quick.Fertility clinic

One of the two nurses administering the exam asked me if I took Advil prior to the appt as instructed. I did. I was covering my mouth screaming and crying during the exam. There was no concern or intervention from the nurses. Once it was over they said “take as much time as you need to get dressed”. I was on the verge of blacking out from pain, I couldn’t get up from the exam table because I felt like I was going to pass out or throw up. I stayed for another 15-20 minutes in that room just trying to wait out the shakes and nausea. No one came back into the room to check on me. I haven’t been able to go back to moving forward with fertility testing or planning. I can’t bring myself to go back into a fertility clinic. The lack of care or concern for the pain I was experiencing was… shocking, and honestly disturbing. I’ve had IUDs inserted and removed and never experienced that kind of pain. I didn’t want to share this but sharing for others before they go in for this test. I understand not everyone experiences this level of pain. Also, the least of my concern but photo included to show the rooms were dirty. But don’t worry the lobby is very trendy & instagram ready. Nothing would bring me back here.Kindbody was amazing with our egg retrieval and I have felt extremely cared for! They have been quick with updates and have been great at checking in during recovery. Updating to add that I've officially graduated from the clinic and we couldn't be more grateful for the the Kindbody team for their care throughout the transfer process. Outside of that I tried contacting at least three additional times. I do not recommend this company at all. Imagine trying to get in contact with them as a client. It shouldn’t be this hard. The lack of response shows a blatant disregard of care.I’m torn writing this review, as Kindbody gave me two beautiful boys via IVF. Their clinical team was wonderful and supportive, although their physician turnover was disheartening. I had 4 different physicians at this location during my 3 year journey, which made it difficult to build any sort of rapport. Billing and administrative services were such a headache. I was billed for services that weren’t clearly communicated to me, was almost forced into paying for a whole FET out of pocket because of their delay submitting prior authorization, and most recently, just received an invoice 9 months after my last visit with their team. This added unnecessary stress in an already stressful situation. There’s definitely positive and negatives of receiving care here.My experience has been wonderful so far with this clinic. Something I realized is they work very hard to take things step by step with you as a patient instead of fire hosing you with tons of info. This process is complex and has many variables. I love how the doctors and staff carry you through slowly and carefully and make sure you have the most important info you need at the time you need it. They have also done an incredible job of answering any questions very quickly and even getting On the phone with me when I really needed help. I even had a doctor call me after hours during bed time to help my successfully finish an important step. All the women at this clinic are kind and supportive but also professional and efficient. Meetings and visits are quick! But there are always staff members available to take phone calls to help explain more of the process. Whenever I call their phone, someone answered. I also had no doubts of the medical abilities of this clinic. They gave me great expectations and have really helped me feel like this process is possible when I thought it was not. Highly recommend this place and am still in the process of finishing my treatment but have no regrets so far. Thank you Kindbody team!I can’t say enough positive things about my experience with Kindbody. The entire team was truly a “Kindbody girl squad” but also all scientists and extremely good at what they do! …it felt like an absolute dream team. Every single person I interacted with was incredibly smart, talented, and deeply compassionate. During what can be a vulnerable and sometimes intense process, they created such a warm, supportive environment that made all the difference. From the very beginning, I felt a genuine sense of care and connection. Instead of feeling like I was going through a sterile medical procedure, I felt welcomed like family. That level of comfort helped ease so much anxiety and allowed me to move through the process feeling calm and supported. Zoe, my coordinator, is such a sweetheart. I interacted with her constantly, and she always brought a kind, reassuring energy. Gave me lunch spot recommendations, the whole shebang. She never made me feel rushed and always made sure I felt safe and heard..I’d honestly love to pop back in just to say hi. Nurse Kaelin was absolutely amazing. She patiently answered all of my many questions (even right before my procedure!) with confidence and clarity. Her knowledge and matter-of-fact approach made me feel so informed and at ease. Dr. Pedroso is my hero. She performed my retrieval and is not only incredibly talented, but also so warm and kind. I felt completely at home in her care. and yes, I gave her a hug afterwards! Shiloh made my ultrasound appointments feel like catching up with a friend, and Shauntel brought such a lovely, easygoing energy (and has the prettiest curly hair!). Amanda at the front desk was a gem.. always helpful with scheduling and patient with every call.. even when sometimes I would call multiple times a day, lol. Jessica, my PA, was incredibly supportive during lab testing and follow-ups. She was reassuring, thorough, and kind, especially when explaining symptoms and after-care. Sarah, the anesthesiologist, went beyond to ease any fears I had about going under. Her experience and calm confidence were so reassuring. And a huge thank you to Lauren, Erin, and Taylar in embryology; you all are an amazing team behind the scenes making everything happen. there were others that interacted with, and it was wonderful. I’m so grateful to everyone at Kindbody for turning what could have been a stressful experience into something empowering, supportive, and even joyful. I hope reading this gives anyone considering Kindbody, especially if your are BIPOC and in your late 30s or early 40s, sound qualitative data in making an informed decision. "I want to be honest about something that has been weighing on me. I have been on this journey with your clinic since 2022, and at this point, I expected to feel supported, known, and genuinely cared for. Instead, I often feel like I am moving through a system rather than being held in a deeply personal and life-altering experience. This process is not just clinical for me, it is emotional, vulnerable, and significant. And yet, my experience has too often felt impersonal and transactional. There have been moments where I’ve felt overlooked, and that has made an already difficult journey feel even more isolating. It’s hard not to feel that my presence is more tied to what I contribute financially than to the care and attention I need as a patient navigating something this sensitive. I am not sharing this lightly. I am sharing it because I still want to feel confident in where I am receiving care, and right now, that confidence has been shaken. I need a more personalized, attentive, and compassionate experience moving forward, one where I feel seen, considered, and supported as an individual, not just processed through a system. I would appreciate the opportunity to have a conversation about how my care can better reflect that. Please let me know a time within the next week when we can connect to discuss specific changes and next steps. Sincerely, Alliss"I've had a very positive experience at Kindbody. The nurses were all very friendly and helpful; they were always available and patient when answering the many questions I had. I felt well informed and clear about the financial obligations and variable costs. Going to a fertility clinic for any reason can be an emotional tolling process but Kindbody made me feel supported, informed, and empowered throughout my journey.I wish I could rate the clinical team separately from the administrative and billing team. Clinically -- 5 stars. All staff is very welcoming, friendly and interactive with each appointment. Communication was always easy and clear. Appointments were on time and they overall worked very well and very professionally. Admin/Billing -- 0 stars. The clinical team and the billing team do not communicate with one another. We were often incorrectly billed. I often times had to question the invoices that were coming through to my portal to which I had to wait for a response from the admin team because they had to reach out to billing for answers. Overall it was a mess and often times incorrect.Kindbody was an amazing clinic to go through the egg freezing process. I appreciated everyone on the team. They were knowledgeable and very kind! Having finally spoke with a patient care supervisor to list out our grievances, I can’t believe what we had to go through with this company. You’d be better off going to a different Kindbody clinic out of state or another provider in the Denver area altogether. We love the people but don’t care for a lot of the organizational type items. I’m sure as the company continues to learn from past experiences it will only get better, but they’re not there yet.The staff are friendly and supportive, my visits are always without issue. The patient portal is easy to navigate and make appointments, 10/10 recommend!Disorganized, Poor Communication, and Condescending Staff. I wish I could give a better review, but my experience with Kind Body has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. Navigating their fertility process has felt like an uphill battle at every turn, and the lack of communication and support has made an already stressful situation exponentially worse. Communication Issues: The communication regarding appointments, next steps, and financial expectations has been abysmal. You are left to piece everything together on your own with little to no guidance from the staff. When you ask questions, you're met with vague or incomplete answers, forcing you to constantly follow up and advocate for yourself just to get basic information. Financial Transparency: The lack of financial clarity is unacceptable. I walked into an appointment expecting to pay $600 based on what I was told, only to be informed at check-in that it was actually $2,000. This came after I had already paid $850 for medications, $750 for care coordination, and another $750 for other services. There is no upfront breakdown of costs, no clear invoicing, and no one willing to walk you through what to expect financially. It feels like you're being ambushed with charges at every turn. Staff Attitude: To make matters worse, the receptionist I dealt with was extremely rude and condescending. When I expressed confusion and frustration about the lack of communication and sudden cost changes, I was treated dismissively rather than with empathy or professionalism. This is a fertility clinic—patients are going through one of the most emotionally and physically challenging experiences of their lives. The least the staff could do is treat people with kindness and respect. Overall: Fertility treatment is hard enough without feeling like you're fighting your own clinic for basic information and support. I expected better from a company with "Kind" in its name. Unfortunately, my experience has been anything but. If you're considering Kind Body, I'd strongly recommend looking elsewhere or at the very least, going in with your eyes wide open about what you're signing up for.I don’t have words for how poorly run Kind Body is. We move a lot and Kind Body is our fourth clinic. This industry has its problems, but Kind Body is both the most expensive and the least competent. Run, don’t walk away. - The positive reviews here are mostly for an MD who is no longer with the company. In the year we have been working with Kind Body, they’ve had their MD leave twice. - Listen to the Bloomberg Podcast ‘IVF Disrupted’. The podcast is 100% correct. The business is a complete mess. - We had a nurse tell us ‘you don’t have any IUI samples’ while she was HOLDING THE PAPERWORK THAT SAID WE DID. This was after a $2K session that resulted in us having to use an additional vial unnecessarily. - They have fees for EVERYTHING. Our last clinic rented us a Dewar and paid the courier for less than Kind Body charged to process the paperwork to receive. - They seem to overprescribe compared to the first clinic we worked with (where we conceived on the first try), with less than half of the tests Kind Body wanted. Also, Kind Body, it’s poor form to offer free stuff to people who give reviews. Please stop doing it. Edit: I'm responding to Kindbody's comment. It's been over a month and they haven't reached out. I didn't know a company could be run this ineptly.I'm so grateful for the wonderful team and Kindbody for their endless support in our fertility journey. My husband and I first started working with Kindbody about 1.5 years ago, in 2024. We went through 3 rounds of egg retrieval, 2 uterine polyp removals, and 2 embryo transfers. I am happy to say that I am now 10 weeks pregnant and everything is going wonderfully. Every single person at Kindbody was so inviting - I truly felt more like I was hanging out with friends than at a doctor's office. From our first interaction with Dr. Grob, I knew we would be in good hands. There were some changes throughout my time here and after Dr. Grob left there were several other REs who had to step in, and while I didn't bond with them as much, they were still highly competent and very kind. The only minor frustration in the whole process were some mistakes with the billing department and that it was sometimes hard to get in touch with the front desk (the phones go to a call center then will redirect you to your specific clinic), but that is not a fault of the team at the Denver location and I still would give it nothing less than a 5 star experience. To Dr. Grob, Jess, Shiloh, Rollins, Kaelin, Zoey, Dr. Bendikson, Haley, Amanda, Alexis, Caitlin, and I'm sure many more I'm missing - thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being part of our journey. We can't wait to come back next year with baby in tow to say hello to you.Overall - Very negative experience with Kindbody Denver. My partner and I utilized Kindbody for their egg freezing services. While the staff was overall friendly, and the nurses were usually decent at responding to our questions, they did seem over booked and sometimes like they were constantly rushing from customer to customer. In addition, here were some of the additional issues we faced. Lack of transparency around side effects and complications: While they did share the complications that can come with egg freezing, it felt like they downplayed the likelihood that these may occur. They also only mentioned the potential of ovarian cysts from this procedure very briefly if at all, and did not warn us to be on the lookout for symptoms. Communication with us regarding Medication: When it came to medication, and especially the dosages, it felt like they often had the attitude of “I am the doctor, you are the patient, don’t worry about what we’re giving you, trust us.” We felt in the dark about medication decisions and dosages that were made on our behalf and they did not take the time to explain the reasoning behind their medication decisions, especially given how high dose of a procedure egg retrieval is. Pain expectation post surgery: The expectation they gave us for the amount of pain my partner would be in after the surgery was greatly underplayed. Throughout the entire process, they downplayed how intensive the retrieval procedure and the entire process would be. They continuously treated the side effects of the medications as minor inconveniences when they were actually majorly life affecting. Retrieval Doctor Bedside manner: The Doctor who did the retrieval had very poor bedside manner, trying to downplay my partners emotions post procedure as just an emotional time from the hormones and the surgery medications. Overall, we had a very poor experience at Kindbody. I would not recommend them to anyone I know. Definitely felt like we were just a number on a spreadsheet that they had to get through the process of egg retrieval. My husband and I had a great experience with Kindbody Denver. The nursing staff and physicians are lovely and caring, and the clinic itself is beautiful (beautifully decorated with an overall good vibe to make you feel as comfortable as possible is the best way I can put it—not like many fertility clinics). At age 37, I had 12 antral follicles with AMH ranging 1.86-2.24 and was hopeful for even one normal embryo. Our results far exceeded our expectations—we did one egg retrieval and got 9 embryos from 26 eggs, and 4 of those were euploid. I am now 15 weeks pregnant with our first embryo transferred at age 38. The nurses are great about responding to questions through the portal quickly and the REs seem to have the process very dialed in. One thing worth noting is that the clinic did have some turnover in REs. We started with Dr. Grob for the retrieval, then when she left we worked with Dr. Bendikson whom we only met virtually and the physician who did our embryo transfer was Dr. Margarelli who I only met that day. We rolled with it and everything has turned out great, but worth noting in case you are stressed out by changes like that. Billing can be a bit confusing at times too. IVF is definitely a difficult journey, but we are so thankful to have worked with Kindbody. Wishing anyone reading this who is dealing with infertility or wanting to preserve their fertility all the best!I had a truly terrible experience with Kindbody Denver and am writing this hoping to deter even one person from using their practice, which is against my own interests as they…I had a truly terrible experience with Kindbody Denver and am writing this hoping to deter even one person from using their practice, which is against my own interests as they have my eggs frozen with them. I truly cannot imagine a worse experience, but here are some aspects that stand out: - No real expectation setting, starting from the beginning we were never given any sort of understanding of what we might expect in terms of the retrieval and my numbers - Every time I asked a question of anyone on my care team, they seemed genuinely annoyed. They also made us ask most of our questions in public, in the waiting room in front of other patients, so they could get us out of the rooms ASAP. In other words, they literally did not plan on you taking any additional time and if you have questions, well, everyone else in the lobby is also going to know them despite no subject matter being more private and personal. Awful. - I was told about a hypothetical diagnosis during my ONE and only less than "30 minute" (21 minute) consult with Dr. Bendikson, then in her note she wrote something completely different that she did not say to me (my partner was on the call as well and confirmed in case perhaps I was too emotional and forgot)- the doctor was unavailable to me otherwise and there was no direct ability to contact her - They make you go on what’s best for their schedule, not your body, everyone within the same month is on a single timeline. If yours doesn’t line up? Too bad. You get birth control to make it fit right. - This is absolutely a “numbers” clinic- 40 something surgeries in a week, according to my pre-op nurse, which does not make sense for their space or staff whatsoever. The pre-op rooms are little shoe boxes, and they absolutely don’t have the staff to handle the volume, nor the APP’s to manage it. 99% of interactions are with a nurse, tech, or MA. - They told me to expect not to be in pain, just “mild discomfort” coming out of surgery- I was in excruciating pain. I could not walk for days after surgery, and I could not return to work until the following week. - The surgeon was misogynist and blamed my disappointment and anger on “all the hormones” rather than take accountability for the count falling short of exceptions, specifically the expectation that Dr. Bendikson herself relayed to me, or validate my experience - No one prepared me for the worst depression of my life following egg freezing, and no one told me about the possibility of the hormones causing cyst development following the freezing. Both of these things happened to me, including needing an emergency cystectomy for a hemorrhaging cyst following EF that the operating OBGYN stated was most likely caused by the EF process. - There was no way to directly call anyone, you have to send a message through a portal and for any correspondence give them 48 hours to reply. The phone number goes to a call center and people who put you on hold then make you verify your identity just to leave a message for your care team. For such time sensitive processes, this was infuriating and terrible patient care. - When I told Jessica the PA in the solitary 10 minute post op visit that she was 15 minutes late for that I had never been more depressed and did not find any joy at all in living (radically different than my day to day experience), she only asked if I had a therapist and then changed the subject, no follow up care, no recommendation to talk to a psychiatrist or the physician— nothing. As a psychologist, this was the part of my experience I was most angry about. - I asked to speak to the practice manager twice; once immediately following my surgery to the nurse and once to Jessica in the final visit. The manager never reached out. Completely on par with the rest of their care— which is to say, I don’t think it could be worse.I am forever grateful to Kindbody Denver for helping me achieve my dream of becoming pregnant. The entire team—from the front desk to the doctors and nurses—treated me with so much kindness and compassion. They made every step easy and comfortable and what could have been an overwhelming journey feel manageable and full of hope. The doctors took time to explain each step, answer all my questions. Their expertise and encouragement gave me confidence, and I never once felt like “just another patient.” They remembered me, cared about me, and genuinely wanted the best outcome for my family. Now that I’m pregnant, I look back on this journey with such gratitude for the incredible care I received here. Thank you, Kindbody Denver, for helping me bring my dream to life. I could not recommend this clinic more highly to anyone. You’ll find not just doctors, but partners who walk alongside you every step of the way.Unfortunately, I wish I had paid closer attention to the critical reviews before deciding to work with Kindbody. It has now been nearly a month since our retrieval, and we are still waiting for billing to address reimbursement for procedures that were not provided. As a healthcare provider myself, I’ve never before felt so much like just a number. While the nursing team was compassionate and supportive, that alone does not outweigh the cost, the time lost, and the disregard shown once payment has been made and treatment is no longer active. I don’t write reviews often, because I know many organizations rarely change their practices. But I’m writing this for those of you who are carefully searching for where to place your trust on the journey to building a family.STEER CLEAR A waste of time (like 1.5 years), money! and a lot of stress and health. Never had any issues with discrimination BUT issues definitely arose…. Appointments: I was constantly misled about what the next appointment would entail and what provider I would see. My first doctor left the Denver clinic and I was reassured I could still work with her, which did not happen. Nonetheless, I was always greeted as if the staff knew me, but they never seemed to be on the same page. I once got told by the person who did my blood draw how painful the upcoming procedure (that day!) was going to be when I was told it was just a scan! She was right, I was fully unprepared. That’s a horror story for another day. Billing: Billing issues are impossible to resolve! I have a $4,000 bill for a service I was told not to proceed with. My provider literally said it was an error and I would only be billed for a portion (approx $450) but since she is no longer with Kindbody (see below), it became a he said/she said and I ultimately still owe the astronomical bill for bloodwork for a potential donor. I’ve been going back and forth with their billing department for months in which Kindbody will take no responsibility. Communication: 90% of communication is done in the portal which is a good way to keep track of information but again, nobody is on the same page and they often “close” conversation threads before resolving them (attached example). I have gone without responses many times and have been given the run around when I call - especially regarding insurance. Out of frustration, I started working with their clinic in Detroit, but it suddenly closed with THREE DAYS NOTICE and recommended I find another provider outside of Kindbody (see attached). My doctor wasn’t able to help resolve billing issues or provide any assurance I would be taken care of. Very happy for all who had a good experience here, but I am left emotionally, physically and financially drained by Kindbody and will never trust them with my fertility care or the care of anyone I know. Pros: Beautiful office in Denver, kind staff all around, very inclusive and clean.Did fertility testing and here and following the exams I have had severe pain in the same area, and I still have the pain a month later. I’m a nurse, and as such I expect a level of conduct from the medical professionals involved in my care, and everyone who provided care to me at Kindbody was outstanding. Phenomenal job with the blood draws and ultrasounds. I had to have a bubble study, and while it was uncomfortable I felt so supported by NP Jessica and the US tech and it was over in no time! Still figuring out what the next steps will look like, but I’m really thankful for my experiences thus far and just want to thank everyone for their caring attitude. I thank God every day for the incredible Denver team and the opportunity to undergo my treatment at their clinic. Today, I’m 13 weeks pregnant following one successful egg retrieval, a procedure for polyp removal, and one successful embryo transfer. From day one, the entire team was kind and empathetic, supporting us through both the highs and the lows. Dr. Grob always had the most informative, supportive, and encouraging words for my husband and me. The nurses consistently went above and beyond to keep us informed about each step of the process and to provide support, even during emergencies and after hours. A special thank you to NP Kaelin, who made this journey extra special 🤍. Now, we are over the moon as we eagerly await our baby girl, Emma, a rainbow 🌈 and miracle baby 🌸. We are forever thankful for the talent and dedication of the Kindbody team, who ensured that my treatment was smooth, even when things seemed difficult. We welcomed our son a few months ago which would not have been possible without the support and expertise of the Kindbody team. My wife and I went to another fertility clinic in Denver where we had two failed transfers prior to switching to Kindbody. We felt like we were just another number at this other clinic and were made to feel that my age/body was the problem. They suggested other expensive, time consuming, and invasive testing to see why the transfers failed. Thankfully I trusted my gut in getting a second opinion as those next steps didn't feel quite right. Kindbody was a complete breath of fresh air that provided us with renewed hope. Dr. Grob and the entire Kindbody team were extremely welcoming, attentive, supportive, and kind throughout the entire process. They gave us options where we felt we had none and I got pregnant on our first transfer attempt! Complete night and day compared with that other big name fertility clinic. You are treated like a person rather than a number, with true kindness! The entire medical team (plus front desk!) was not only very knowledgeable and professional, but incredibly compassionate and lovely. Dr. Grob is no longer with Kindbody but she recommended a modified natural approach to our FET, which was not only much easier on my body, but much more affordable due to less meds. After multiple early losses with fully medicated cycles at our previous clinic, we were thrilled to be trying something new. We are overjoyed to say we just ‘graduated’ and would absolutely recommend to anyone on their fertility journey. We are forever grateful!!!Current Patient of Dr Natalie Grob, my experience has been by far very positive, she’s very knowledgeable and specially kind. The count fell 4 below the expectation set by my fertility doctor, so I immediately started crying. He kept telling me to be happy...he simply said "it was an emotional time." I was enraged and felt completely dismissed. He also repeated "one egg, one embryo" twice, which also upset me because I felt like he didn't even know who I was or what I was doing. I was not creating embryos with my eggs, I was wanting fertility preservation due to DOR.Dr Grob is more concerned about her numbers than her actual patients. She is very rigid with her protocol, doesn’t take feedback well, and refuses to answer questions. After my failed FET with her, she essentially blamed me for the failure, threatened to fire me as a patient, and then said we’d do the exact same thing over again, completely dismissing my concerns about the protocol...very condescending and inauthentic. She talks down to her patients and allows zero room for self advocacy. She didn’t explain things well and was not receptive to any type of questioning or suggests.[Dr. Natalia Grob] would refuse to treatment if I didn't lose weight and fast. However, she was quick to sell me on starting another cycle due to disappointing results, rather than explain why I could have gotten poor results in the first place or show compassion toward my situation. I told her that it was a huge cost financially and emotionally to me and I am not ready to start another one immediately, but she pushed it, saying that I might have unknown fertility problems without giving details on how or why.Who you would meet
