When I asked if it was Rebeca, she didn’t confirm and simply replied, “How can I help?” in a curt tone. I found her response unprofessional and rude, which made me feel uncomfortable. Dr. Carpentier is one of a kind- and a dying breed. No physician out there cares as much as he does… he is wholeheartedly in this field to help men and women achieve their goals…Dr. Carpentier is one of a kind- and a dying breed. No physician out there cares as much as he does… he is wholeheartedly in this field to help men and women achieve their goals of finally having a family, while also helping to improve health and wellness of his patients. And in the most natural ways possible! I struggled with years of infertility. I had numerous doctors tell me I would never conceive naturally. I found Dr C and within about 4-5 months… I FINALLY was pregnant… naturally! Then we experienced multiple miscarriages. From there, Dr C. helped me to realize my diagnosis of PCOS & endometriosis, which lead me to a successful laparoscopy with Dr. Peter Sticco…. 6 months later, we conceived with our first born! From the beginning to the end…. I am endlessly thankful to the work of Paul Carpentier & his amazing team. Special mentions to Joyce, Jaime, Barbara, Elizabeta… and to the many wonderful NPs & nurses I didn’t mention… you all always kept my hope alive. Your warm approach, caring demeanors and endless encouragement is honestly what made me keep going. I’ll forever look at my daughter and remember you all when I do! He takes time to listen and educate (over an hour!) He does not make you feel rushed or like there is anywhere else he has to be. To Dr. C, for that hour, you are all that matters. Throughout my entire appointment I kept telling my husband I felt like I was in a dream. He does not dismiss your concerns or symptoms. I have been to numerous doctors who have dismissed my symptoms or concerns telling me they are not related. He is the first doctor to actually listen and confirm that they all fit together in a puzzle. He is the first doctor to treat my symptoms instead of what my previous “normal” tests showed. I would truly recommend him to any woman going through reoccurring miscarriages. For the first time in a year I see a light at the end of the tunnel for my rainbow baby. 🤍🌈
My experience with the Gianna center was extremely upsetting. The staff was wonderful, and while Dr. Carpentier’s bedside manner was appreciated, there were inappropriate moments that were brought up. For one thing, it was intimated that a certain medication that he had available could’ve prevented several miscarriages I had. This was an inappropriate statement in my opinion, as if that were true, this medication would be widely available and taken by everyone. I was also met with discussions about politics (in particular, why Donald Trump was wonderful and responsible for certain birth control methods). Regardless of political affiliation, I do not find it appropriate to bring politics into medical conversations. I was also asked about my fertility prospects (whether I wanted more children) while sitting in the office with a newborn and dealing with some postpartum issues. I did not broach the topic independently, and found the conversation to be inappropriate considering the type of care I was seeking at the moment. He also said that my thyroid was in need of medical supplementation, while the results indicated that my thyroid was perfectly normal. Needless to say, I will not be seeking care from this provider in the near future.Dr C is the most patient and thoughtful doctor ever. He is always offering wise, holistic yet scientific solutions. A lot of emphasis is placed on charting your cycles using the creighton method-which is helpful-but if you do not wish to chart your cycles in this way, then you should not go there. Dr. Nolte takes time to come to the underlying root cause of infertility, doing more extensive testing compared to other more larger fertility centers I have been too.Dr. Nolte always spends a generous amount of time without patients while somehow managing to stay on schedule.
