She listens to any concerns you might have and is just an expert in this field. I am trying to be a gestational carrier for my sister. We had 3 transfers done, until we got a positive pregnancy test, have gone through a handful of different coordinators, but we did it! Alyssa is so sweet and amazing to work with. She always responds, sometimes even after clinic hours, she was reassuring when I had moments of fear or doubt, and was so supportive throughout the entire process. Writing this is making me even a little emotional because it was just the best experience from start to finish. Thank you FIH TEAM, we are forever grateful.

Before coming to this practice, we endured five rounds of IUI filled with disappointment and uncertainty. We experienced delays due to genetic testing that required consultations with a genetic specialist. Along the way, we often found ourselves questioning our decisions and searching for answers and hope. Meeting Dr. Frattarelli changed everything. He took the time to educate us about the importance of egg and sperm quality, explained our treatment options and realistic success rates, and gave us the confidence and reassurance we desperately needed. Rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach, he carefully monitored how my body responded and adjusted medication dosages accordingly. We always felt that our treatment plan was tailored specifically for us. A special thank you to Julia, who is truly one of a kind. Her passion for her patients shines through in everything she does. She is incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable, providing clear and detailed instructions on administering the injections and always making sure we felt comfortable and prepared. What touched us the most was that even when she was traveling, she would still check in and ask about our results. She genuinely cared about our journey and celebrated every milestone with us. Julia has a special gift for making the office feel like home, and her warmth and compassion helped us through some of our most anxious moments. We also want to recognize the entire clinic staff. Everyone treated us with kindness and respect. Fertility treatment can be stressful and overwhelming, but every person we encountered made us feel welcomed and cared for. Another huge advantage of this practice is having the consultations, ultrasounds, blood work, and procedures all in one location. It made the process so much more convenient and significantly reduced the stress of coordinating care between multiple offices. Fertility is a journey filled with hope, setbacks, and countless emotions. From the very beginning, I felt genuinely cared for, supported, and guided through one of the most emotional and uncertain times in my life. Dr. Goulet was kind, decisive, and honest every step of the way. Even when the outlook felt grim, Dr. Goulet always made recommendations that were truly in my best interest. I never felt like “just another patient”—I felt heard and cared for as a person. My care coordinator, Anissa, was the friend I didn’t know I needed during such an uncertain season. She was compassionate during the hard moments and my biggest cheerleader when we finally had reason to celebrate. Her support meant more to me than words can express. If I could give advice to anyone beginning their fertility journey, it would be this: don’t give up, and trust your doctor. Dr. Frattarelli and his amazing team gave me a reason to have hope and to believe in my dream of one day being a Mom. I was assigned early on to my wonderful coordinator Julia. I can best describe her as that friend who keeps you on schedule and stops you from going down the black hole of worry and dread. She communicated with me at every step of my fertility journey, making sure I followed my calendar, took my meds correctly, completed my lab work, and scheduled my next appointments. But most importantly, she was the smiling face that gave me the reassurance and encouragement to keep going. Speaking of lab, Zoe is the best! Her friendly and bubbly personality makes my fear of needles go away. I wish she could do all my blood draws. Dr. Frattarelli was professional, friendly, and took the time to answer all my questions. The doctors and nurses are incredibly knowledgeable and care so much for their patients. We've had services with a different clinic years ago and the difference has been truly life changing. Our only regret in our overall journey is we wish we would've found FIH sooner. I can't say this enough, FIH is TOP TIER and we are eternally grateful for our experience. We have never felt so informed, so trusting, and so delicately cared for. Dr. Karmon was exceptionally knowledgeable and the best to work with! Zoe was the best phlebotomist ever lol, I swear I never felt anything during bloodwork! She was so bubbly and has the best personality. I loved our conversations, even if it was for a few minutes. She is so lovely to be around. She makes you laugh and smile everytime. The front desk staff were sweet as always, they'd recognized me immediately and checked me in each time with ease. I felt like a VIP patient with them lol, always wishing us luck when we'd have an important procedure coming up :) The entire team is beyond phenomenal, from the medical assistants, embryologist, and everyone in between; they truly made our experience so wonderful and each encounter made us feel so much more than just patients to them. The team has always been lovely, efficient, understanding and compassionate!!!! My doctor was Dr Karmon, the most humble woman, I've ever met! She is beyond incredible at her craft/specialty and always had the solution to my fertility struggles. It wasn’t linear for us but she made it happen!!! My IVF coordinator Anissa is nothing but a gem!!! She’s very supportive, kind, empathetic and makes us laugh all the time. We are lucky to have her!!! When going through a fertility journey it can be very overwhelming, frustrating, anxious, and some insecurities when it comes to being a women and having to do this. But with the institute they were very passionate, understanding, committed, sensitive, welcoming, very very caring and literally held my husband and I hands with this process. You don’t know how much you need a car coordinator( Claire) until you start this process Claire become my person that I didn’t know I needed. She was always accommodating and making sure we had everything we needy. If anything came up she had no problem with making sure I got in as soon as possible. If I got scared she would reassure me everything would be ok and if I needed time she would support that also. Dr Frattarelli I like to call him super man because I felt going through this long two year journey he came in and saved the day. He was so gentle when communicating information with my husband and I. He handled us with care and did let us know every detail of each procedure that we had to go through, he never rushed and took his time to make sure we understood everything that we going on. Fortunately, my husband and I were blessed to be referred to Dr. Frattarelli at Fertility Institute of Hawaii to help us through this difficult journey. After a few failed IUIs, we decided to go ahead and pursue IVF. During the process, there is a lot of information that comes your way but Dr. Frattarelli was patient and kind to go over all the details and options with my husband and I. He helped us feel at ease in all chapters of this journey, from my egg retrieval to our frozen embryo transfer. In addition to having a great doctor, we couldn’t have asked for a better IVF coordinator. Julia was there to answer all our questions and has been our personal cheerleader since the start of our IVF journey. She walked us step by step on how to take my injections and was excited when she seen baby kick at our last ultrasound. We loved her so much that my husband and I had to check to see if she would be our coordinator when we decide to have another baby. We were happy to find out that she will be! I’m just about to reach the end of my first trimester and although we still have a ways to go, my husband and I would like to thank Dr. Frattarelli, Julia, and FIH for helping us get to this point. We have our first positive pregnancy and we are so excited for this new journey!キ

That is why it’s extremely important to feel comfortable and supported, and that’s exactly how I would describe my experience with the fertility institute. Dr. Frattarelli was our doctor. He is to the point but he is also compassionate and it very much seems he develops a plan that focuses on maximizing your success. Silivia was an excellent coordinator. She was always prompt with answering any questions and was super supportive the whole time. All of the PA’s were very thorough during the scans and I appreciated their knowledge and expertise. It’s so nice they offer acupuncture at their office which I took advantage of for the day of my embryo transfer. I highly recommend. It seems like a very busy clinic, however I was always able to get appointment times that I needed to accommodate my schedule, which was especially helpful when I was living on a different island and having to travel to their location. The clinic is extremely clean. I’m extremely grateful that I had access to such a great fertility clinic living on the islands. I’m absolutely thrilled to welcome my baby into the world and I so appreciate them for helping me get there!C

Dr. Frattarelli is thorough and always ready and willing to clarify or explain any part of the process. Our IVF coordinator, Anissa, was so easy to work with! She answered our many questions and always got back to us in a timely manner. She was always sincere and clear when communicating. We were always greeted warmly by Emily. She has done her best to make me feel comfortable and guide me as I begin my IVF journey. Unfortunately, I don’t have a success story to share (yet), but I’m sure my results are not due to the clinic’s competence. There are some variables that are out of their control. My doctor has been amazing though. I could not have asked for better patient care. She has taken the time to show up for every one of my appointments, to answer all of my questions, to personally call me, and to adjust my protocol as needed. She has the best bedside manner of any doctor I’ve ever met. I trust her 1,000% and I know that if anyone can help me add a baby to my family in the future, it will be her! :) A big thank you to the front desk staff for always being so warm, welcoming & accommodating too. He also did my surgery to help disconnect a blocked tube that could not be saved. He said this would help conceive and keep an embryo safe instead of possibly being washed out by fluid.
