We left feeling hopeful & optimistic. Looking back, that was the high point of our experience. As treatment progressed, communication became increasingly inconsistent, recommendations changed frequently, and we often received conflicting information from different members of the staff. What frustrated us most was the feeling that nearly every path led to more testing, more procedures, and eventually IVF. We understand IVF is an incredible tool & the right choice for many couples. Our concern was that it often felt like the default recommendation rather than one option among many. One of the earliest examples was when we were told my 32 year old wife's antral follicle count was comparable to that of a woman in her early 40's. We were also told our first daughter was essentially a "Miracle Baby" who beat significant odds. Hearing that was devastating. A second opinion revealed that conclusion was based on an ultrasound performed at a point in her cycle where those numbers were inaccurate & misleading. Several incidents further eroded our trust. Nurses & doctors repeatedly provided conflicting guidance. New tests & procedures were introduced with little explanation. We were asked to pursue expensive out of pocket testing that our new fertility doctor later told us was unnecessary for our situation. The final straw involved multiple conflicting diagnoses. The day before a scheduled procedure we were told my wife had adenomyosis. Before surgery, the doctor told us she did not. After surgery, while waking from anesthesia, we were shown an iPad image and told she instead had endometriosis, but could still proceed with our July IUI Cycle. We later learned this issue was endometritis, leaving us unsure which diagnosis was accurate. Days later we were told our July IUI Cycle was canceled and both of us needed antibiotics. We were verbally told 7 days, while the prescription was written for 14. Fertility treatment is stressful enough without receiving multiple versions of the same diagnosis & treatment plan within days. The biggest issue was the lack of empathy & communication. Messages felt rushed, questions went unanswered, and concerns were treated as inconveniences rather than opportunities to help us understand what was happening. After changing clinics, we were surprised by how different the experience was. Our new doctor reviewed our records, answered every question, and felt we could continue pursuing less invasive options before discussing IVF. At our first appointment she found no evidence of adenomyosis or endometriosis & explained my wife's antral follicle count is 22, which she described as healthy & reassuring. She also questioned why we had undergone so many tests, procedures, antibiotics, and IVF Discussions before exhausting less invasive options. We left feeling informed, respected, and hopeful again. I have never left a negative Google Review before. If a restaurant is bad, I simply stop going, but everything above is something I wish someone had told us before we started. If you choose this clinic, ask questions, ask for explanations, and do not be afraid to get a second opinion if your concerns are not being heard. One of our biggest fears was that switching clinics would cost us precious time. It did not. Our new physician kept us moving without delaying treatment. If you are already committed to IVF, this clinic may be a reasonable option. However, if you are early in your fertility journey & want to thoroughly explore less invasive options first, I strongly recommend getting a second opinion if your questions or preferences are not being fully considered. I genuinely wish anyone reading this review the very best.
