Understand · educational ranges

Family goal simulator.

Three pathways with uncertainty at every step — not a single false personal percentage. Clinic counseling still owns the plan.

Educational ranges · not a fertility score

Transparent attrition ranges for education — not a personalized clinical probability model. No AUC claim. Not calibrated to Patriot or any single clinic.

Stage ranges

Mature eggs (this plan)5913

Illustrative age/AMH band — not a prediction

Blastocysts (approx.)1.84.58.5

Assumes ~35–65% of mature eggs reach blastocyst — lab-dependent

Euploid embryos (approx.)0.723.9

From age-banded rates × mature eggs

Potential live births (very rough)0.31.12.5

Per-euploid live-birth rates vary widely by clinic and uterine factor

Three pathways

Conservative path

At the low end of each step: ~0.7 euploid and ~0.3 potential live births from this plan.

Median path

Mid bands: ~2 euploid and ~1.1 potential live births — still a wide real-world spread.

Optimistic path

High bands: ~3.9 euploid and ~2.5 potential live births. Do not treat as a promise.

Limitations

  • Does not predict live birth for you
  • Does not replace REI counseling
  • Lab, protocol, PGT platform, and uterine factors dominate outcomes
  • AMH (if entered) only shifts egg-count narrative bands
  • Donor-egg mode uses younger-donor illustrative rates

Questions for your REI

  • Given my age and prior cycles, how many mature eggs or euploid embryos do you recommend banking for my family size?
  • How do your lab’s blastocyst and euploid rates compare to these educational bands?
  • Should we plan one retrieval or sequential banking before a surrogate transfer?
  • How does PGT-A counseling change the number of embryos we discuss transferring or storing?
