Our experience with this fertility clinic was ultimately frustrating and, at times, concerning. The front desk staff were consistently rude and unprofessional, especially during morning check-ins. There were multiple instances where we had to repeat steps or provide the same information due to what appeared to be poor internal communication and record-keeping. We went through IVF twice at this clinic. During the second round, our numbers were slowly increasing, but we were told they were not rising fast enough. Based on that, we were instructed to stop the medication. Shortly after, we were referred to University of Cincinnati Health for further care. Once we arrived at UC, the situation became more confusing. Despite having stopped the medication just a day prior (per the original clinic’s direction), the numbers had doubled again. This raised questions for us about whether stopping treatment when we did was the right call. Around that same time, a breast exam was introduced as part of the evaluation at UC. Given everything happening — the sudden stop in IVF, the change in care teams, and the shift in focus — it felt abrupt and somewhat disconnected from the primary issue we were dealing with in that moment. Even if medically justified, it wasn’t clearly explained in context, which added to the overall confusion and stress. To be fair, the doctor at the wellness center was always prompt, but communication often felt brief and rushed, leaving us with unanswered questions during an already emotional process. Overall, between the front office issues, lack of clear communication, and the way key decisions were handled, the experience felt disjointed and difficult to navigate. I would strongly encourage prospective patients to ask detailed questions, seek clarity on treatment decisions, and stay very involved in their care.Many of our friends have gone to Dr.Chin - with good reason. His nursing staff - they truly care about their patients, and bringing a healthy baby to our family. I have had issues with medical providers in the past, Dr. Chin is the most kind, knowledgeable human - please don’t hesitate to ask him questions. I conceived my 1st through an IUI at the other clinic. When I switched to Dr. Chin’s office, the difference was night and day. ALL OF THE STAFF ARE AMAZING! They genuinely care. You won’t encounter a single rude or “checked out” staff member. After our 3rd IUI, I had my first miscarriage. Once we’d confirmed it at an office visit, Michelle (the nurse practitioner) and the other 2 nurses (Grace you are the kindest most amazing nurse I’ve ever met) lined up to give me hugs as I was walking out of the office. That DOES NOT happen in healthcare these days. When we moved on to IVF the nurses were still amazing. They were always happy to answer my questions and I never once felt like I was annoying them. Amanda and Tanya, I am so grateful to you both for always answering my questions with such care and genuine compassion.
