For the…My initial appt was for a 10 weeks pregnancy check up. Julia was my doctor and we really liked her. She informed me it was a bad pregnancy and we talked about our options. For the first time I was offered additional testing on the fetus to try and get some answers… so she scheduled an D/C for the next morning. I had to sit in the waiting room for over an hour the next morning. The front desk lady told me it was a completely normal wait time, that it takes roughly 45 minutes to an hour to be seen after being check in. I was asked to be there by 9 and didn’t get brought back till 10:13… then after a very emotional and difficult situation they tell me they’ll call me in roughly two weeks with some results… they called yesterday and I am told that the box that they had put my “fetal matter” as they called it in had expired, therefore preserving nothing and no testing can be done. I am SO defeated. The nurse literally said on the phone “we should really be paying attention to those things more closely, I apologize.” NO KIDDING!! It’s only your job. This should not have happened.
